Wild Black Tea is a Chinese loose leaf black tea made from tea plants grown in a natural mountain environment. It offers a richer, more distinctive character than many conventional black teas, with floral, honey-like and naturally sweet notes.
It has a smooth, full-bodied taste with floral and honey-like aromas, gentle sweetness and a lingering sweet finish. Mild natural astringency helps give the tea depth without overwhelming the palate.
Yes. Like other true teas made from Camellia sinensis, Wild Black Tea naturally contains caffeine. It is not caffeine-free, so caffeine-sensitive drinkers may prefer smaller servings or avoid drinking it late in the evening.
Use about 3–5g of tea per 250ml of water at 90–95°C (194–203°F). Steep briefly and adjust the brewing time to taste. The leaves can be infused multiple times.
