Jin Jun Mei Black Tea

Great customer service and product. I did not like it first because used tea infuser instead of ceramic tea pod. Company refunded money and sent me another tea for free. After I used ceramic tea pod, the difference was dramatic. I loved the taste, aroma and the color.

This review is for this black tea. This brewed up a nice cup. The recommended 3 minutes steeping gave me a pleasant reddish-brown cup of tea with a bold but not astringent taste. This would be lovely with a shortbread cookie and it’s great for a morning cup of tea. These are organic tea bags in individually wrapped foil-lined bags.

I am a big tea lover. The tea leaves are fresh, not in crumbles, with a mild aroma, and expand very well in hot water. I usually make it with my clay teapot and pour it into glasses, and the color stays golden after three to four infusions. This tea goes very well with milk and cream flavors.

We use this tea to brew our homemade kombucha. The smell and taste are great.
